Apocalypse Now

I keep hearing the same mind puzzling sentence that "Time doesn't exist".

Because we ultimately live in the Now - the past is just a memory and the future isn't yet, so there is just the present moment ... the NOW!

Time is like a river and when you point your finger in the flow of the river, your finger represents the NOW, future events will cross it, and past events are gone.

Which is pretty mind blowing, because unless you have taken photos or videos of your past, past only exists through your memories. If you watch a movie like "Memento" this concept is played quite astutely.

But that means that if all memories are somehow distorted, then the past is also changed.
With a grim consequence : If you can't remember the past, you're about to make the same mistakes over and over.

But what's the benefits of being in the NOW!?
Assuming you don't pay attention to the past (as if that was possible) and you certainly don't worry about the future, because it doesn't exist yet.

The main benefit is a precious peace of mind.
Accepting "What is"

The Intersecting Time Spirals of the “Now.” :
If “now” is the only time that exists then we have the opportunity to have a positive affect in all the time spirals right “now.” This is a hugely different way of thinking about our reality. One we should begin to consider.
