More 2012 predictions

So far, 2012 isn't that bad ... but false prophecies are falling like facebook stock price - one of the most stupendous was that UFO (from the Pleyades) were supposed to make first contact on August, 4th during the Olympics.

This was predicted by the Galactic Federation - and relayed on tumblr many times, and soon removed.

The good thing is after bad predictions and false prophecies we shall soon be able to distinguish between the trustworthy people and the bullshitter.

One of the most interesting character that I've listened to recently is Terence McKenna.

Absolutely amazing during his many lectures, a fine sense of humour too.

Terence McKenna not only predicted the social internet, and facebook, but actually made that strange statement that the computer could be used as a form of a psychedelic ... an unofficial, but legal psychedelic for the awakening human consciousness. He also made a few bold statements on the UFO arrival, and the unavoidable wars, perpetuated because of the constant search for energies (essentially oils) from the most industrialized part of the World.

His main rebuttal that UFO would come to help humanity - was that we put ourselves in that mess, and that is our task to solve that situation, there will not be easy way out ; like help from outer space or a  clean easy ascension that would be very convenient but wouldn't put us through the test and our responsabilities.

It would be like cheating.


Now, Terence McKenna mentioned something to ponder too, he said 2012 is the Year of the Jackpot - the year of the Escathon. That word, would be auto-corrected as Escalation, as Ascension.

“We have to create culture, don’t watch TV, don’t read magazines, don’t even listen to NPR. Create your own roadshow. The nexus of space and time where you are now is the most immediate sector of your universe, and if you’re worrying about Michael Jackson or Bill Clinton or somebody else, then you are disempowered, you’re giving it all away to icons, icons which are maintained by an electronic media so that you want to dress like X or have lips like Y. This is shit-brained, this kind of thinking. That is all cultural diversion, and what is real is you and your friends and your associations, your highs, your orgasms, your hopes, your plans, your fears. And we are told ‘no’, we’re unimportant, we’re peripheral. ‘Get a degree, get a job, get a this, get a that.’ And then you’re a player, you don’t want to even play in that game. You want to reclaim your mind and get it out of the hands of the cultural engineers who want to turn you into a half-baked moron consuming all this trash that’s being manufactured out of the bones of a dying world.”

New Age: The "New Age" is actually a synthesis of many different beliefs and currents of thought, the emphasis being on a rejection of the limitations of reductionist materialism and an emphasis on the way that one can alter one's personal reality through the application of belief, visualization, and positive affirmation. In a sense it is a spiritual awakening, an activation of the "theosphere", an integration of holistic healing, alternative spirituality, esotericism, environmental sensitivity, alternative life-styles, awareness of other dimensions of existence, and attunement to the cosmos.
