If you're familiar with the work of Terence McKenna, you probably know that he was working on a modelization of the I-Ching ; he actually came up with a software he called "TimeWave Zero"

Terence McKenna has a funny theory that the 
"End of History" (the final manifestation of The Eschaton) would happen on Dec. 21, 2012.
