The response to a "black pill" argument

The general understanding given by despairing people, or so called 'black pill' is always around the idea that there is no hope, nothing matters, nothing makes sense, this could be funny (and Rick Sanchez is often quoted for this tirade) ... but thinking in this way, can be harmful, especially if you already are in bad shape, recently hit by life changing events, grieving, or recently unemployed, divorced, etc ...

And I will quote here a paragraph from the book by Viktor Frankl:

What was really needed was a fundamental change in our attitude toward life. We had to learn ourselves and, furthermore, we had to teach the despairing men, that it did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us.

We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life—daily and hourly. Our answer must consist, not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual.

This is about looking at any situation, with the attitude of a space marine in Starcraft, and shouting:

  • Commander?
  • Standin' by.
  •  Jacked up and good to go.
  •  Gimme something to shoot!
  •  Go go go!
  •  Let's move!
  •  Outstanding!
  •  Rock and roll!
That will make the 'black pill' laughs, and then he will leave ...
